Abstract:
In order to study the laws of dust dispersion of coal cutter working at different regions of fully mechanized coal mining face, numerical simulation was conducted for the law of dust dispersion of the fully mechanized coal mining face based on the discrete particle model. The simulation result shows that dust dispersion has the same laws when the coal cutter works at different regions. When the coal cutter works at the front, the dust dispersion range is the widest, and the pollution to the sidewalk is also the most serious. When it is at the middle, the dust flying time is short, and the range of dispersion is smaller, but it also causes certain pollution to the return airway. When it works at the back, the dust dispersion range is limited, but it can cause serious pollution to the return airway. On the whole, high concentration of dust particles is often found in the front roller and the lower wind side of the dust coal machine in different areas, and the concentration is as high as 4 000 mg/m3. The dust produced from the movement of the supports will settle along with the air flow, and when the coal cutter works at the middle and the rear, it will cause heavier pollution to the return airway.
