Abstract: The paper summes up the gas occurrence laws of Baode coal mine and the gas control experiences accumulated in production practice.The practical application effects of gas control measures including ventilation mode,gas drainage technology,monitoring and control,field management and other measures are investigated in large cutting height fully mechanized caving face of Baode coal mine,and then a set of gas comprehensive measure adapted to large cutting height fully mechanized caving face is made,which finds out a new way for gas control in high yield,high efficiency and high-gas coal mine of Shendong coal group.
