Abstract: The forecast of coal and gas outburst is an important aspect of outburst prevention.The paper introduces the determination method and the result of coal and gas outburst risk prediction index △h₂ in working face with theoretical analysis and laboratory conditions.The practical application in the field shows the superiority of this method in improving the driving speed and reducing unnecessary outburst prevention measures.
