Abstract:
In order to study the effective survival time of methanogenic bacteria in coal samples containing gas, this paper carried out a study on the survival test of methane oxidizing bacteria groups in coal samples under the same gas conditions. First, a real-time gas concentration change test system was set up. Second, the prepared coal samples were placed in two test bottles and the same gas was injected in the two bottles. After a certain period of time, the two test bottles were filled with the same volume of methane oxidizing bacteria and sterile water, and the gas concentration changes in bottles were measured by the test system respectively. The test results show that: the gas concentration of coal sample injected into the gas bacteria liquid changes rapidly, and the bacterial fluid can maintain a rapid rate of change within about 31 hours to 60 hours, and then, the methane concentration changes slowly; that is to say, under the same conditions, the survival time of methane oxidizing bacteria in coal samples containing gas is about 31 hours or more.
