Abstract:
In order to analyze the effect of emission characteristics on the coal and gas outburst under single factor condition, the coal and gas outburst simulation with different gas emission characteristics was carried out by using three dimensional gas outburst simulation device. The simulation experiment further verifies that the gas adsorbed by coal body will reduce the strength of the coal body. The experimental results show that the gas emission rate is negatively correlated with the strength coefficient of residual coal body after outburst. The comminution of gas acting on coal sample will increase with the increase of the gas emission rate. In order to indicate the strength of gas outburst, outburst strength coefficient was proposed. There should be a positive correlation between the outburst strength and the gas emission rate. In other words, with the increase of the the gas emission rate, the outburst strength will become greater. There is a threshold for the coal with gas outburst dangerous. When the gas emission rate is above that value, the outburst strength will be obviously enhanced. For the No.5-3 seam of Wulunshan Coal Mine, the value is between 13.9 and 16.8.
