Abstract: It is very important to determine the effective protection range of coal seam and ensure the safe driving of roadway in no outburst danger zone during the gob-side entry driving of outburst seam. The effective protection range of gob-side entry driving in the roadway is determined by the combination mean of theoretical calculation and residual gas content, and the outburst prediction indexes and gas emission data during the period of tunneling are verified by tracking, which ensures the reliability and accuracy of regional division and the safe and fast tunneling.
