Abstract: In this paper,the applications of drill motor for directional drilling machine underground mine coal are introduced.By analyzing the common failure types and reasons of drill motor,the authors researched its quality,drilling technology and operation requirements.And then some effective solving measures are proposed.The research results can provide the basis for improving the service life of screw rod,ensuring the operation efficiency of drilling hole underground mine coal and extracting gas effectively.
