Abstract:
In order to minimize the difficulties in roadway support and gas prevention and control in the process of roadway tunneling in soft thick coal seam, tunneling along the roof of the coal seam was taken usually, but it is not advantageous to arrange the caving mining face. Because of the occurrence conditions of the coal seam, to arrange the conveyor conveniently for the flat roadway, it is bound to cause the roadway horizon arranged alternately along the top and bottom. We mainly focus on the angle of the influence of outburst risk from two different types of roadway horizon, and use numerical simulation software FLAC
3D and RFPA
2D-Flow to anlyze working face mechanics and outburst simulation comparison. The results show that the stress concentration range and stress value, the range of plastic deformation zone, and the deformation degree of roadway surrounding rock in driving along the top are less than that along the bottom under the same parameter setting condition. It can be seen that the outburst risk of roadway along the top is less than that along the bottom. Therefore, the roadway tunneled along the bottom should be avoided as far as possible. The roadway support should be strengthened when the bottom tunneling is chosen unavoidably.
