Abstract:
In order to study the influence of microwave continuous-interrupted radiation on coal particles desorption characteristics, the fundamental principles of microwave thermal effect and non-thermal effect were discussed and analyzed, an experimental apparatus of gas desorption device under continuous-interrupted microwave irradiation has been developed. The experimental results indicate that the gas desorption amount under continuous-interrupted microwave radiation is 1.83 to 3.93 times of no microwave radiation condition; the gas desorption amount under continuous-interrupted microwave radiation fluctuates dramatically, however, the gas desorption amount under the condition of water bath heating has gentle fluctuation, the amount of gas desorption displays increasing rapidly at the beginning, then growing slowly changing laws. The thermal effect of microwave on gas desorption is obvious in the period of 120 minutes, with a weight of more than 83%, but its non-thermal effect can not be ignored.
