Abstract:
In order to find out the common technical reasons of gas explosion accidents in coal mines in recent years, and propose some countermeasures, the statistical data of gas explosion accidents in China from the year of 2013 to 2016 and the risk of similar accidents are analyzed. It is found that accidents in China have the characteristics of high incidence in township coal mines, goaf (closed area) and coal mining face, southwest and northeast China, the common technology reasons lie in two aspects of illegal production and operations, the deep-seated reasons are the lack of technical personnel, safety management loopholes, insufficient safety input, safety supervision oversight etc. Plenty of accidents, low gas control ability in small coal mines, and the peak of the integration of coal mine and coal market fluctuation lead to a high risk of gas accidents. Therefore, strict mine gas drainage standards, strengthening gas monitoring, safety management and scientific supervision, and paying more attention to technological support and other measures should be adopted to prevent accidents.
