Abstract:
The geological conditions of Sangshuping Coal Mine are complex, Ordovician limestone contains thin layer of mudstone and has a strong water barrier. It is necessary to detect and drain the borehole before exploitation, and use the ordinary directional drilling technology is difficult to accurately find the location of aquifer. This paper introduces the application of the electromagnetic wave drilling and gamma drilling system in the detection and drainage in this area, mainly introduces the working principle of the whole system, and test conditions, the experimental results show that the drilling trajectory and the gamma value which measured by mine Gamma MWD can be used to provide real time geological guidance for the detection and drainage of the Ordovician limestone.
