Abstract:
With the increase of mining depth, asymmetric deformation of crossing layer roadway in inclined coal seam is more obvious. This paper selects a typical roadway as the research object. The stress distribution law and asymmetric deformation of this kind of roadway are analyzed by theoretical calculation, field observation and numerical simulation. Through above analysis and simulation, it is concluded that the stress concentration in the inclined coal seam has the characteristic of distribution along the layer. It is summarized that the asymmetric deformation is affected by the global effect of the dip angle and the local influence of the lithological difference. The roadway support should use non-equal strong support according to the “four key principles”. The observation of the deformation law of the surrounding rock proves the applicability of the theory.
