Abstract:
To solve the problems during the mining of deep coal seams in Chengjiao Mine, such as the increasing mine pressure, the difficult control of roadway surrounding rock and the unsmooth mining alternation, this paper studied roof pre-splitting blasting and pressure-relief for goaf-side entry retaining technology. Results show that: roof pre-splitting blasting and pressure-relief for goaf-side entry retaining technology works as follow: pre-split the advance section of roof in the goaf-side entry and cut off the stress transfer between roof of roadway and that of goaf; the goaf roof cutting and crushing along the pre-splitting surface become a rib; then the crushed rock will support the roof, which plays a positive role in improving the stress distribution in the surrounding rock of roadway. Site application shows that: the technology can decrease periodic roof pressure, avoid resource loss caused by coal pillar and support cost caused by frequent roadway repairing; besides, roof pre-splitting blasting and pressure-relief for goaf-side entry retaining technology was first successfully realized in deep fully mechanized mining face.
