Abstract:
In order to explore the reasonable width-to-height ratio of the rectangular section roadway, based on complex function method of orifice stress in elastic mechanics, the stress distribution around the tunnel in the rectangular section was solved and the influence of the related factors on the stress change of the surrounding of the rectangular tunnel is discussed by single factor analysis method. Meanwhile, according to the geological conditions in Panyidong Coal Mine 1232(1), numerical simulation software FLAC
3D is used to simulate the displacement around the tunnel with different width-to-height ratios. Result show that: when the surrounding rock is isotropic, the roadway should be arranged along the direction of maximum horizontal stress, and the reasonable width-to-height ratio is about 1. Reasonable width-to-height ratio of Panyidong Coal Mine 1232(1) non-homogeneous face is 1.2. The reasonable width height ratio is related to the proportion of different rock in the section of the roadway.
