Abstract:
Using statistical investigation method, on the basis of temporal and spatial distribution of rock burst, we carry out the statistical analysis for occurring time of 179 rock bursts in Xinzhouyao, Sanhejian, Qianqiu coal mines. The study shows that the rock burst mines in the south of China are much less than that in the north, and the rock burst mines in the west are much less than that in the east, with a certain degree of regional aggregation characteristics. The occurrence time of coal burst is dispersed, which means it is not concentrated in a specific year, a month or a day. Coal blasting is important forewarning information before rock burst, and coal seams merging area, roadway end of an isolated island working face, advanced stress zone and multi-roadway intersection area are full of bursting risk. Normally, the floor and ribs of a roadway are more easily to be damaged, and mining by layers, blasting and roof suspended a long distance under hard roof would increased the risk of rock burst.
