Abstract:
Aiming at the gas accumulation in goaf and gas exceeding the limit caused by the difficulty of top coal and roof caving during the initial mining period of fully mechanized top coal caving face in high gas coal seams, we propose an idea to control the gas of fully mechanized caving face in the initial mining period with deep hole pre-splitting blasting. Through analyzing the gas monitoring data of splitting face and without splitting face, the effect of deep hole pre-splitting blasting on the gas change during the initial mining period of fully mechanized caving face is studied. The result shows that before initial mining of 3404 fully mechanized caving face with deep hole pre-splitting blasting, the problem of gas overrun in early mining has been effectively controlled, and the safety production of the working face during the initial mining period is guaranteed.
