Abstract:
Based on the geological conditions of 11303(east) working face which is in the footwall with the one-side goaf in Zhaolou Coal Mine, the evolution laws of fault coal-pillar stress, the front abutment stress of the middle and the face end of the goaf-side are simulated and analyzed when the working face advances away from the fault by utilizing the FLAC3D simulation software. Results show that the stress value of fault coal-pillar rises gradually when the working face advances less than 120 m and it has little change with the working face advancing unceasingly. The front abutment stress value of working face increases gradually when the working face advances less than 80 m, while it keeps constant when the working face advances more than 80 m. Due to the effect of the mining and the adjacent goaf, the front abutment stress of the face end on the goaf-side is more than the other end and the peak value reaches to maximum when the working face advances 170 m.
