Abstract:
Based on the exploration and gas geological data in the southwest area of Tangshan Mine, we study the gas geological characteristics of the southwest area in Tangshan Mine and predict the gas emission of the undeveloped 5
#, 8
# and 9
# coal seams on the basis of multiple linear regression. The result shows that 9
# coal seam has the largest emission and the majority of the area is more than 8 m
3/min, and the largest emission can reach 23.6 m
3/min. There is great difference in 5
# coal seam that the largest absolute emission reaches more than 6 m
3/min while its middle part is relatively lower. The emission in 8
# coal seam is from 1.5 m3/min to 4.5 m
3/min which is less than 5
# coal seam on the whole. The prediction results are consistent with the emission law of developed gas.
