Abstract:
For the difficulties of high gas desorption index of drilling cuttings and slow driving in high gas coal gateway driving face, a short driving head drilling pre-splitting technology of high pressure CO
2 fracturing for outburst prevention is used. Theoretical analysis and field tests show that, using high pressure CO
2 fracturing in gateway driving face to carry out short drilling pre-splitting blasting can promote the development of coal seam, improve permeability and drilling gas drainage volume, decrease desorption index of the drilling cuttings, and achieve the goal of outburst prevention. The field data show that the maximum gas desorption index of drilling cuttings is 150 Pa after fracturing, and drilling cuttings volume
S value is relatively reduced, which achieves the goal of outburst prevention. Drilling gas drainage volume within 4 h after fracturing is twice than that without fracturing, and coal seam gas content is reduced in short time, the safety and pace of coal gateway driving are effectively guaranteed.
