Abstract:
Through analyzing the merits and demerits of the conventional drill cutting method and core-taking method for coal gas content measurement, combining the advantages of the two methods, a new coal spot sampling device is developed for gas content in underground. The device integrates core-taking device and coal sample tank, and increases swirl marks in the outer core-taking tube; the device is simple and easy operation and can fast carry out spot sampling can solve the problems of inaccurate sampling point, long exposure time and big gas loss of coal sample in traditional drill cutting method. Through field test and comparison, it is indicated that the accuracy of measuring gas content is improved by using the new device to instead of the conventional method.
