Abstract: By collecting Guizhou coal mine accidents data from 2009 to 2015 and having statistical analysis, it is concluded that safety production situation of Guizhou coal mines is gradually improving; the accidents have local and regional characteristics and local township coal mine accidents accounted for about 80% of the total accidents; accidents in Liupanshui and Bijie accounted for half of the total in the province, and gas, roof, permeable are main disasters in coal mines. It is also concluded that the key to reduce total accidents of the province is to strengthen the prevention of gas, roof, flooding disasters, control local villages and towns coal mine production, focus on improving production safety supervision of Liupanshui and Bijie two regions.
