Abstract:
Three kinds of apparatus named hollow ball dust isolation curtain, porous rotating spherical suspended carrier dust isolation curtain and mixed dust isolation curtain were designed and made. Dust bond was sprayed on these curtains to carry out field experiments. Results showed that mixed dust isolation curtain had the best effect of reducing dust. The average separation efficiency was 44.05%. The concentration of respirable dust reduced to 12.71 mg/m
3 after passing through the 4th dust isolation curtain. The wind speed at 1.61 m/s met the requirements of optimal dust exhausting wind speed. By calculating the liquid loading capacity of single hollow ball and the reduction of blinder solution, the cleaning frequency combining with the actual measured results had been defined at 40 hours.
