Abstract:
In order to strengthen the management of face end roof with large mining height, the water injection test and the roadway deformation observation were applied to study the laws of fissure development in the region and determine the depth of the grouting hole and the best grouting area, and field experiments were carried out. The results showed that the reasonable grouting hole depth was 8 m; the best grouting area is located in front of the working face of 15 m to 25 m; the complete degree of coal in grouting face end had improved obviously and side fall roof caving almost doses not appear; the safe and efficient mining of the working face is guaranteed; the amount of two-sided displacement was decreased to 689 mm from 1 243 mm and the amount of floor heave was decreased to 376 mm from 821 mm. The roadway deformation was controlled effectively.
