Active air jet explosion suppression technology has irreplaceable advantages, and to research and develop active gas explosion suppression device, the suppression effect of CO
2 and C
3F
7H two kinds of gas anti explosion agent on CH
4 explosion was carried out through contrast experiments study by the use of 20 L explosion characteristic testing system. Through the research, it is found that the gas explosion suppression agent can have very good explosion suppression effect only after fully intensive mixing with the flammable air mixture; under the condition of the ignition delay time of 60 ms, the minimum explosion suppression concentrations of CO
2 and C
3F
7H under the experimental conditions were 19.4% and 17.4%; C
3F
7H concentration which is lower than the explosion suppression can promote the combustion and explosion of CH
4 with the combustion effect; CO
2 and C
3F
7H have advantages and disadvantages in the inhibition of CH
4 explosion respectively.
