Abstract:
In order to solve the control problems of surrounding rock in roadway with thick top coal and high coal sides, the deformation and destruction laws were studied by numerical simulation when the roadway height was different. The result shows that height increase has a maximum impact on surrounding rock of roadway sides, and the roof takes second place. There is a demarcation point of deformation intensity in roadway sides and roof, and its position is related to section size and roof lithological characters. The united support scheme of bolt and anchor is determined based on deformation characteristics of roadway and coal production and geology conditions. Field test results show that the support system was successful to control the deformation of surrounding rock.
