Abstract:
To study the characteristics of gas explosion in ground exhausting pipeline, gas explosion environment in ground exhausting pipeline is simulated, and the explosion limit of gas pipeline, explosion pressure and flame propagation velocity are analyzed by test. The results showed that in the experimental pipeline, the blast wave impulse increased gradually in the initial explosion, and reached the maximum later, and gradually decreased, and then the impulse suddenly increased near the experimental pipe opening position. Explosion pressure increases with the extension of experimental pipeline, and reaches the maximum at the opening end which is close to the experimental pipeline. The gas concentration is lower than 9%, and the flame propagation velocity decreases with decreasing concentration; gas concentration is higher than 11%, and the flame propagation velocity decreases with the increase of concentration.
