Abstract:
In this paper, we introduce the theory of transient electromagnetic method and structure of magnetic induction sensor. At the same time, the advanced detection experiments were carried out by magnetic induction sensor and traditional receiving coil on the 414 water sump and 81025 lateral wall in Sitai Coal Mine of Datong Coal Mine Group, respectively. The measured results show that it is feasible to use magnetic induction sensor as receiver instead of the traditional receiving coil. Meanwhile, the coal mine experiments prove that the magnetic induction sensor can reach the same effect as traditional receiving coil. Moreover, the magnetic induction sensor has many advantages, such as small size, light weight and portable, which has widely potential application in the advanced detection of coal mine.
