Abstract:
Taking Baiyinhua No.2 Open-pit Mine as the background, through the analysis of "5.16", "9.10" large landslide of this mine, we discuss the influence of water and mining on hard - soft, soft- hard rock slope and the slope deformation failure mechanism, and conclude that the slope deformation and failure in Baiyinhua No. 2 Open-pit Mine belongs to slope deformation and instability mode of rock mass structure control. Using transfer coefficient method, limit equilibrium method to evaluate the stability of the dump within south slope, and the scheme of slope presser foot is proposed according to the front row of slope excavation in drawdown condition: the width of flat is 64 m below 1035 working face, slope angle of 13 °, and the width of flat is 200 m above 1035 working face, slope angle of 6 °. In order to avoid a large, sudden landslide disaster happening again, we suggest to adopting necessary engineering measures to ensure the orderly conduct of safe production.
