Abstract:
In view of the quite difference between briquette coal used for the coal and gas outburst simulation and the raw coal, in this paper, we use Portland cement, sodium humic acid, CMC and sodium silicate as the basic materials to study the impact of various types of cements on the mechanical properties of coal, consistent coefficient, and gas adsorption analytical characteristics. We develop new type coal cementing agent by orthogonal compound for outburst simulation of coal production. Experimental results show that: cement can quickly improve briquette compressive strength and consistent coefficient, and greatly weaken the gas adsorption performance. The increased sodium humic acid content is in favor of the adsorption gas, but sturdiness and mechanical properties improvement of coal is limited. When the proportion of cement agent is Portland cement: sodium humic acid: CMC: sodium silicate= 2%∶(12%~15%)∶4%∶(4%~6%), the difference of compressive strength and gas adsorption analytical characteristics between the briquette coal and raw coal is controlled within 10%. Briquette coal is closer to raw coal and more applicable to coal and gas outburst simulation test.
