Abstract:
Based on acquisition of tectonic coal in typical mine of Southwest China, the gas characteristics was investigated from different metamorphism and deformation cenditions. The influence of metamorphic grade on gas adsorption is larger than that of deformation intensity in middle-high metamorphism stage. The gas adsorption of low metamorphic coal is lower than that of middle-high metamorphism coal regardless of the deformation. Main factor affecting the amount of methane adsorption is tectonic coal deformation strength in low metamorphism stage. Better desorption samples are mainly high rank coal or high deformation tectonic coal. Gas desorption and desorption stress sensitivity is in line with Covent style. The stress sensitivity of gas desorption at initial stage is that high metamorphic and weak deformation coal> middle-high metamorphic and strong deformation coal> low metamorphic coal.
