Abstract:
Aiming at the issues of solidify shrinkage, too fast initial setting time and lack of strength that exists in the traditional sealing material for gas extraction drilling, CF solidify expansion sealing material is developed to insure gas extraction of coal mines. CF material is based on Portland cement, mixed with a certain ratio of retarder, stabilizers and bulking agents, and blended with amount of water. Tests compared CF material with ordinary cement, polyurethane and expanded cement in four areas of parameters which are the initial setting time, viscosity, expansion and strength. Also the ratio of each component in CF material is compared. The results show that CF material has better mobility, higher viscosity, expansion and stabilization moderate expansion time characteristics, and has a high compressive strength under the condition that the solid water ratio is 5∶3, retarder mass ratio is 1.5% to 2% and expansion mass ratio is 2% to 3%. Meanwhile, four performance parameters are superior to other common sealing materials.
