Abstract:
Taking the rock burst accidents occurred in driving face of a certain coal mine as engineering background, through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, the mechanism of rock burst occurred in driving face of thick coal seam with rock parting was studied. When driving face is in rock parting zone, stress concentration area in rock parting zone superimposes advancing stress of driving face so that local stress is highly concentrated in driving face, which is the main reason of the occurrence of rock burst. Based on the mechanism, "driving face - roadway walls - floor" comprehensive distressing method and reasonable supporting scheme during driving were adopted.
