Abstract:
For the drawbacks of the traditional methods in controlling the coal dust, we present foam-sol technology to control coal dust. Based on the model of dynamic contact angle and the equilibrium contact angle, the wettability and adhesion work of the aqueous foam solution, foam-sol solution, deionized water were analyzed, and the critical surface tension of wetting agent to wet the coal dust was analyzed by the Zisman graph. It shows that the foam-sol solution has better comprehensive properties including the wettability, foaming ability and stronger adhesion work. When the surface tension of wetting agent is less than 28.32 mN /m, it can spread on the coal dust surface, and the surface tension of wetting agent is greater than 73.77 mN /m, it can not soak coal dust. It has better wetting agent than the aqueous foam solution and deionized water to capture the dynamic dust.
