Abstract: Traditional application of compressed air in coal mine are summarized, including pneumatic equipment, pneumatic tools and emergency safety system and other aspects; some new applications of compressed air to solve the problems of mine safety in recent years are summarized; the defects in the existing applications of the coal mine compressed air are further analyzed, and the prospect for the development of the coal mine compressed air is introduced.
