Abstract:
The diagnosis method of probability index based on the stress concentration factor and elastic energy index of coal seam has the characteristics of simple and less required parameters. This method has been used to evaluate the rock burst hazard of the 2323 half island working face which has the maximum burial depth in Geting Coal Mine. The parameters of the uniaxial compressive strength and the elastic energy index of the coal sample were acquired through field sampling and laboratory testing. Meanwhile, the stress concentration factor of 2323 working face during the mining was calculated by FLAC
3D software. Then, the rock burst hazard evaluation of the face was done via the above-mentioned diagnosis method. And it was testified by some field tests such as the electromagnetic radiation method and method of drilling bits. The results indicate that the 2323 working face has weak rock burst hazard.
