In order to improve the recovery rate of coal resources and ensure the stability of roadway, taking Guanlingshan Coal Mine as the research background, for the mining scheme and physical and mechanical properties of coal and rock of 15
# coal after using gob-side entry driving technology, the FLAC
3D software is used to simulate the displacement field and strain field of six different section sizes for mine roadway after we get the width of the coal column. After the research, we get a reasonable section size and the best height is 2.5 m. This size can ensure the safety and stability of the roadway during its service and obtain more favorable technical and economic effects.
