Abstract:
Aiming at the problem that it is hard to transmit voice in channels of mine wireless through-the-earth in the process of mine rescue, the Code Excited Linear Prediction Coding (CELP) was proposed as the voice compression coding scheme of mine wireless through-the-earth communication to achieve the purpose of the voice signal preprocessing. The simulation results of this compression scheme by using MatLab showed that through this compression scheme, the voice frequency range that could be compressed of 250 to 3 500 Hz and the transmission rate could be compressed down to 4.6 kb/s on the premise of subjectively identifiable and undistorted voice. The results met the requirements of voice signal compression in mine wireless through-the-earth communication.
