Abstract:
In order to study the influence of soft rock strata in roof on the stability of roadway surrounding rock in coal pillar and its control technology, in view of the serious deformation problem of surrounding rock within the composite roof, we used the theoretical analysis and numerical calculation to study the influence of soft rock strata on the stability of surrounding rock with large cross-section roadway in coal pillar. Research results show that when the thickness of soft strata in roof is more than 0.81 m, the roof surrounding rock is extremely instable and prone to occur bed separation, which needs reinforcement support for the roof and two ribs; the ANSYS numerical simulation and theory is used to calculate the bolt length and the bolt length is 2.6 m. Extending the length of bolt makes soft strata to lie in the bolt anchoring area; the increasing bolt diameter is able to enhance the tensile and shear capacity of bolt; the increasing bolt pre-tensioned stress contributes to generating three-dimensional stress of roof. All these measures can control the roof bed separation and deformation of two ribs effectively.
