Abstract: Based on the statistics of coal accidents of Yima Coal Group in recent ten years from January 2005 to December 2014, from the accident types, occurrence time, mine types and other aspects, the characteristics and laws as well as the causes of the accidents are statistically analyzed. And then, the prevention and control measures to prevent and reduce accidents are proposed from the standpoint of safety investment, supervision and management, occupation skill training. All of which provide a theoretical basis for the disaster accidents prevention and treatment to Yima Coal Group Coal Mine, and has important reference value to the prevention and control of coal mine accidents.
