Abstract:
The slope stability after mining disturbance is an important research content in geotechnical engineering. Taking Ⅳ-Ⅳ profile of a mine as research object and based on limit equilibrium theory, the present slope stability is calculated after mining disturbance by GEO-SLOPE. The result shows that the present slope is not in stable position. We propose the program of cutting local slope and reducing load slope to improve slope stability. Under the condition of rock mass reduction and loose rock, the new slope is calculated respectively. The result shows that the slope is in stable position under two conditions so as to achieve the purpose of control.
