Abstract:
The permeability coefficient in coal seam is one of the most important parameters for evaluating the difficulty of gas drainage from coal seam, designing the gas drainage system and examining the exploitation efficiency of the protective coal seam. The accurate determination has important theory value and practice significance. By summarizing the existing theories and methods of determination of permeability coefficient in our country, this study contrasts and analyzes the assumptions, theoretical derivation and determination process of different methods, and elaborates the advantages and disadvantages. Then combining with the actual requirements of coal mine safety production, we propose a new idea for determining the permeability coefficient in coal seam rapidly and accurately.
