Abstract:
With the increase of closed coal mines, the hazards caused by close coalfield become increasingly prominent; the study of the hazards is imminent. After analyzing mining conditions and potential threat comprehensively, the five major hazards induced close coal mines, such as landslide, surface deformation, groundwater pollution, fault activation and harmful gases release are summarized. On the basis of referring to a large number of literatures, current status of the five hazards caused by close coal mines is discussed, and the current research status is also analyzed. Finally the key research direction of hazards which are caused by close coal mines in the future is pointed out.
