Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of rational position for underlying coal seam in Xiuliu Coal Mine, this study takes theoretical analysis, numerical analysis and field measurement to research the rational position of roadway layout for 10
# and 11
# coal seams. The conclusions show that the coal pillar will be in plastic area while the width of coal pillar is less than 7 m, and the roadway layout of underlying coal seam could not consider the influence of upper coal seam, which means the internal alternate style, external alternate style and eclipsed style could also be used. While the coal pillar width is 7 m to 10 m, although the coal pillar is not in plastic area entirely, external alternate style and eclipsed style is still in effect. While the width of coal pillar is up to 10 m, the stability of coal pillars will be formed and a wide range of increased-stress area will be appeared, the internal alternate style of roadway layout must be used and the internal alternate distance should be 7 m.
