Abstract:
Pole-dipole array resistivity method has a wide application in the coal mine safety production. But there are some impact factors in the application process, including the current electrode, the potential electrode distance, the sampling interval, the recording point way, the probing depth, the resolution ratio and so on. These problems are not paid enough attention, which results in errors even wrong geological interpretation. Based on the issues above, it is pointed out that the selection of current electrode, potential electrode distance and sampling interval should be appropriate; the direct mapping interpretation can be misleading with different recording way data; the probing depth should not be inordinate; whether the intersection method or geophysical inversion method, the bi-directional measurement of pole-dipole array is the best device for high density resistivity method applied in cave exploration.
