Abstract:
The strata structure of compound roof is complex, and the cohesive force of each layer is low and prone to separation, and the roadway support is difficult. By the method of numerical simulation analysis, we analyzed the effect of separation location of compound roof on the performance of bolt support. It is concluded that when the separation is at the anchor edge, the pre-stress field superimposes on each other, and it is away from the deep surrounding rock, but the role of cable can make up for the defect of rock bolting support. Practice proves that the highly pre-stressed strength bolting system is applied for soft coal with compound roof, and the coal sides’ support must be strengthened, and the system can obtain good effect with the method of short distance excavating and short distance supporting.
