Abstract:
In order to study the damage instability mechanism and control technology for thick coal with large section roadway passing through fault, we take the severe deformed damage occurred in the course of the adjacent coal mining at 923 material lane in 9
# coal seam of Dongpo Coal Mine in Shanxi as engineering background. We use theoretical analysis and discrete element numerical analysis method to simulate the damaged process at 923 material effected by mining under the adjacent lane. We reveal the failure mechanism of roadway, propose the use of "truss anchor + anchor mesh belt" surrounding rock control technology to achieve effective control of severe roof caving and rock deformation.
