Abstract: In recent years, the water inrush often occurred at the process of coal mine production in the east of Guizhou, which threats to the safety prodution of mine, the worker's life and property suffer serious. From the hydrology geological conditions of coal distribution in the area, we analyzed the reason of water inrush of coal mine, think that the water inrush of coal mine can be divided into groundwater as the water source and the waste water, goaf water as water source. The waste water and goaf water inrush is mainly due to improper management of mine. We focuses on the reason of water inrush of coal mine in detail of groundwater as the water source, and provides the basis of prevention groundwater inrush of coal mining in the east of Guizhou in future.
