Abstract: At present, the solid-hole screen technology is the important measure and method to solve the gas extraction problem of soft coal seam in China. The solid-hole screen will be the important promotion direction of fire prevention and control with water infusion for natural special thick soft broken seam. The technical difficulties, screen hole layout way and construction notes are studied on fire extinguishing with water infusion for soft coal seam. Combined with the field test in a coal mine of Baoji, a set of effective fire extinguishing technology with water infusion is developed suitable for underground soft coal seam. The solid-hole screen technology and the optimized screens hole layout way coal has thermal cooling role for the coal seam in spontaneous combustion area, which achieves a good effect of fire extinguishing, and ensures coal mine safety production.
