Abstract:
In order to study the influence of the broken time of the vacuum cavity weak surface on the effect of explosion venting, the "L" type experimental pipe was set up and the striker was designed to control the weak surface broken time. The explosion experiments were carried out with 9.5% methane-air mixture, the experiment data of the explosion pressure and the time of the flame reaching sensors were obtained with the different striker lengths. After data analysis, the conclusions were that the longer the striker was, the earlier the weak surface broke; the effects of the vacuum cavity explosion venting were improved as the striker was used; the broken time of the weak surface had the significant influence on the effects of vacuum cavity explosion venting.
