Abstract: Many "No burning" safety signs in deputy wellhead of coal mine which can prevent accidents and improve the executive power of regulations were not substandard, which reduces the effectiveness of signs and also reflects the lack of knowledge of standard requirements. Through theoretical study and comparative analysis between our country's standards and foreign standards, some related standard requirements are reiterated and advices for the sign's application in coal mines in China are also proposed. On this basis, the safety sign "No burning" in three mines were improved. The knowledge which is reiterated can be used by manufacturers and other units to study and apply.
